Brian Arnold, Attorney & Partner

Brian Arnold earned his Bachelor's Degree from Weber State University and his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Brian comes from a litigation background and has developed a keen passion for winning. He is a powerful litigator in the courtroom, with a personality and demeanor that endears him to colleagues and clients alike. He focuses his practice in divorce, family law, criminal law, general civil litigation and heads the firm's litigation and trial teams. Brian's most recent work includes a class action lawsuit against all major mortgage lenders and the United States Treasury for damages against homeowners.

Matt Wadsworth, Attorney & Partner

Matt Wadsworth earned his Bachelor's from the University of Utah in Economics where he graduated in the top ten percent of his class. Matt earned his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he graduated in the top third of his class and earned the Cali Award in Real Estate Finance and Development as well as matching the top grade in Land Use, Zoning and Planning. Upon admittance to the Utah State Bar Association, he was offered a position with the largest foreclosure firm in Utah, Lundberg & Associates, where he oversaw the processing of thousands of foreclosures and post foreclosure eviction files.  This experience provided ample experience and skill to handle Arnold & Wadsworth's expansive mortgage lending practice. He also is the firm's legislative liaison and handles their lobbying needs. Matt's most recent work with the Utah legislature was sponsoring House Bill 299 with Gage Froerer, which amended the State's unlawful detainer statute. Matt practices in the areas of bankruptcy, foreclosures, workouts, real estate transactions and lending practices, title, evictions, landlord/tenant law, litigation, and consumer law. He has significant expertise in the Federal Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Mark Arnold, Of Counsel

Mark Arnold has worked as an attorney in Utah for over thirty years. Mark graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with his Bachelors and received his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He worked as the Layton City Attorney for a number of years where he became deeply involved in the process of entitlements and land use. After he left Layton City, Mark opened his own law practice where he delved into the private side of land use and development, further developing the skills and contacts he made during his time working for government. Now Mark is involved in a highly specialized real estate and land use practice where he focuses on large transactions, including the development of ski resorts, large Planned Unit Developments (PUDs), and general land entitlement
